Although the Fleetline was usually a double decked vehicle, a few operators, such as Birmingham, who had a large fleet of double deck Fleetlines, wanted to standardise on one type of bus.

Now in preservation, 3472 is seen here at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum, Lathalmond, Dunfries, on 18th August 2013.
